A native of Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew as a child. She was a contestant in singing contests, performed in the theatre department at her high school as well as sang in choruses. Then she moved into Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree in The University of Southern California and later was Belle as the Princess for one and a half years at Disneyland. When she dropped out of college, she began searching for a talent agency and auditioning to work on television and film. Butler played a part in the TV shows CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
