Yael stone, who is a New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA diploma. Yael's early career has allowed her to meet and work with the best Australian storytellers. Yael is a hugely successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence in New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. It is based in Bushwick Brooklyn and works from there to support innovative creativity, new writing.
