Srushti is preparing to take her UPSC examination in her third year of studying engineering. When she graduated she was unsure if she was able to be satisfied with her engineering job. The answer became more clear as she focused more on the civil work. Parents encouraged her to become a civil servant and pursue a career in public service. She was driven to be an IAS officer and was focused towards that aim. You need to put in more effort to be successful at UPSC. While she was studying in engineering She also had to work on different subjects for UPSC. Every day, she set aside some time for preparation. She spent only one month working on the exams and stayed completely off of Facebook and other social media in her daily life. She believes that focus and concentration are essential to pass the government examination to become an official. Her efforts were arduous to attain her aim of passing the exam at first attempt. Everyday, she went through the news to stay up with current events. Additionally, she received a lot of help online, by accumulating studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV.
