Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up close to Tallahassee within Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21 1964. She was the daughter of Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University and graduated from the University of Central Florida. After she relocated from Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and enrolled in comedy classes there when she realized that she was taught about humor. The first instructor she had was Lisa Kudrow. She taught her how to play improvise and write comedy sketches. This helped her prepare for the part of Larry David's wife on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000).
